Jeffrey S Hillman
Jeffrey Hillman is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon with special interests in cataract and refractive surgery and intraocular lenses. He implanted intraocular lenses for over 25 and ran national and international courses on intraocular lens power calculation.
Jeffrey is a former senior Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at St James’s University Hospital in Leeds and Senior lecturer in Ophthalmology at the University of Leeds. He was actively involved in teaching ophthalmology and optometry trainees and has 40 published papers and was in clinical practice until 2020.
He was a Principal Expert and Chairman of the UK delegation to the ISO committee which sets international standards for intraocular lenses and ophthalmic medical devices from 1991 to 2023.
