Mr Timothy Goodwin has extensive wildlife habitat survey experience including biological survey, site assessment and land management. He has wide experience of consultations with both statutory and non statutory bodies in the UK and abroad and has worked as a major consultant to two of the largest environmental bodies on wildlife trade, wildlife conservation and international conservation.
His knowledge of practical ecological issues, including the preparation and implementation of workable ecological proposals, has led to him being retained as a consultant with the Department of the Environment and HM Customs & Excise. Mr Goodwin is thoroughly conversent with environmental assessment in compliance with both UK and EU legislation and has led work on major environmental impact assessments both in the UK and abroad. His environmental planning expertise includes water/flood alleviation schemes, new settlements, highways and mineral restoration schemes, amongst others.
His wide ecological expertise has resulted in him giving expert evidence on issues from badgers, woodland conservation and SSSIs to marine developments and peat extraction.
