All three consultant neuropsychologists have specialist post graduate training and qualifications in clinical neuropsychology to Masters level as well as PhDs in clinically relevant research. All are Full Members of the British Psychological Society Division of Neuropsychology and on the Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists. They are all Chartered Psychologists and registered Practitioner and Clinical Psychologists with the Health Care Professions Council.
All our consultants follow the scientist practitioner model of practice and employ both scientific and clinical methods their approach to assessment and reporting. Expert reports provided by our consultants are detailed, thorough, reflect their commitment to excellence in practice and are appropriate to the medicolegal setting.
Dr Renee McCarter
Dr McCarter undertakes both child and adult assessments. She provides reports for claimants, defendants and by joint instruction She undertakes approximately 40 medico-legal assessments per year. She provides regular appointments in London and and also offers a satellite clinic in Bristol.
Remote telehealth consultations and assessments are also offered, where appropriate.
Dr Nigel Walton
Dr Walton undertakes only adult assessments. He provides reports for claimants, defendants and by joint instruction. He undertakes approximately 40 medico-legal assessments per year. He provides regular appointments in London and and also offers a limited number of appointments in Bristol.
Remote telehealth consultations and assessments are also offered, where appropriate.
Prof Martin Bunnage
Prof Bunnage undertakes adult assessments only. He provides reports for claimants, defendants and by joint instruction. He undertakes approximately 25 medico-legal assessments per year. He provides regular appointments in Bristol, other venues by arrangement. Prof Bunnage works as an associate with NPsych Clinical Neurosciences Ltd, although all private work is undertaken via his own company, Clinical Neuropsychology Ltd. Through his own company, additional treatment and rehabilitation services are available.
