We provide a wide range of services to claimant and defendant lawyers, independent case managers, and also insurers who offer income replacement and other indemnity products where claims are related to neurological and cognitive function.

Reporting and Opinion Services

As a large and varied group of clinicians including neurologists, neuro-psychiatrists, neuro-psychologists, psychiatrists and neuro-radiologists, we are able to match the right expert to each case according to the specific medical details which are at issue. If you’re not sure about the specialty you need, or you’re dealing with a complex case with multiple issues, we’re always happy to discuss. Please contact the medicolegal team.

We are also able to create integrated opinion reports where a case requires input from more than one clinician, saving time and money, and reducing the potential for incongruence. This can be particularly helpful where we are jointly instructed by both parties.

Advanced Imaging

In addition to the clinical expertise of the team, we also have a full suite of advanced neuro-diagnostics including 3T MRI, DTI and MEG. Our imaging often reveals abnormalities which are not present on the scans performed at the time of the accident.

Rehabilitation Assessment and Therapy

We also provide a full range of rehabilitation services including detailed assessments of the potential for rehabilitation, including which types of therapy are likely to be most effective, and in what sequence. All of our rehabilitation work is led by neuro-psychologists who specialise in brain injury, and it is their job to coordinate the delivery of all the other types of therapy to optimise impact and improvement in function.

We provide rehabilitation services to a wide range of clients including:

  • Traumatic brain injury
  • Cognitive function impairment caused by medical treatment
  • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
  • Return to work programmes, including stress and depression
  • PTSD
  • Stroke

We are instructed by claimant and defendant solicitors, as well as directly by various insurers and reinsurers seeking to mitigate long term, high value, neurological related claims.
