Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon
Mr Saeed Mohammad has been a Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon at Hope Hospital, Salford since 2001. He has prior experience in spinal surgery and current specialist interests in Spinal Deformity, Degenerative Spine Disease, Spinal Tumours and Spinal Trauma whilst also dealing with Paediatric Spinal emergencies at Manchester Children’s Hospital and Hope Hospital where there is a tertiary referral centre for spine related problems.
Mr Mohammad is involved in teaching (both at undergraduate and post graduate levels) for Manchester University Medical School. He also teaches physiotherapists and was involved in the setting up of a triage spinal service at Hope Hospital.
He has published articles in peer review journals and given presentations nationally and internationally.
Mr Mohammad is involved in medico legal work that he can relate to through his clinical experience and knowledge of his specialist subject.
