Dr Panicos Shangaris

Dr Panicos Shangaris is a Clinical Senior Lecturer and Consultant in Obstetrics and Maternal and Fetal Medicine at King's College London and King's College Hospital.
He completed his Masters's degree in Fetal Medicine and Prenatal Genetics from UCL with distinction, and later pursued a PhD at the same institution on the subject of treating genetic blood disorders by transplanting stem cells or gene therapy to the fetus.
With over 15 years' experience, Dr Shangaris specialises in all aspects of fetal medicine, pregnancy, high-risk pregnancy, prenatal diagnosis, preconception counselling and birthing control.
He undertakes expert witness instructions, including the preparation of medico legal reports and giving evidence in court, in clinical negligence cases relating to all of these areas.
Dr Shangaris can act on behalf of either claimant or defendant or as a Single Joint Expert.
