Mr Julian Carter undertakes expert witness instructions, including the preparation of expert reports and giving evidence in court, in cases involving structural failures and matters of forensic assessment.
- Tort of nuisance and the application of the the National Policy Planning Framwork (NPPF 2018) especially related to the failure of above ground and sub-surface drainage systems
- Failure of buildings and civil/structural systems and infrastructure through poor design, build, management or planning
- Assessment of build quality and the appropriate application of National Standards considering the Construction and Design Management Regulations 2015
Mr Carter can act on behalf of either claimant or defendant or as a Single Joint Expert.
