Mr David Shaw has been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon since 1996 with wide experience in orthopaedic and trauma surgery. He has prepared expert reports since 1989 involving clinical negligence, disability and personal injury. He has fellowships in general and orthopaedic surgery.
Listed in the specialist register of the General Medical Council, Mr. Shaw was awarded an international fellowship in trauma surgery by the AO Foundation. His elective practice includes hip and knee joint replacement and revision joint surgery. He undertook Consultant level emergency trauma management and fracture surgery within a dynamic teaching hospital environment from 1996 to 2023.
