mobile forensic

Today’s mobile phones and handheld computers are sophisticated devices with the ability to store high volumes of varying types of data.

The increased capabilities in these devices mean that they are able to hold more electronically stored information than ever before and their potential role as a source of evidence should not be overlooked.

With memory and storage devices becoming cheaper and more discreet, yet with higher capacity for storage, a mobile device can now hold as much data as a laptop would have done 5 years ago.  The majority of these now incorporate camera and video functions and even email, meaning they are an incredibly valuable source of evidence during an investigation.
