When law and justice are not the same

Bulldog by Stephen M Grant (UPSO). WHAT would you do if the justice system failed you?

That is the question posed in Stephen Grant’s breathtaking thriller about a woman (Alex Stephenson) who loses her family to a drunk driver, and then begins a life as a vigilante when he is acquitted of their deaths. The question is one which becomes increasingly difficult to answer as you find yourself rooting for what effectively is a mass murderer.

Grant tells his story with a verve and pace that keeps you hooked until the surprising conclusion.

* We have two copies of Bulldog to give away, courtesy of UPSO. Simply answer the following question: How did Alex Stephenson’s family die?

Email your answer to our editor at chris.wilson@ networkmediagroup.co.uk, by 31 March. The two winners will be drawn at random from the correct entries.

In the winter issue of Your Witness we gave away two copies of Lethal Witness:
Sir Bernard Spilsbury, Honorary Pathologist. So congratulations to Paul Eward, of Ross-on-Wye, and Norman Fidler of Southgate, whose answers to the question posed was that Dr Crippen’s mistress was Ethel Le Neve.
