Dr Vesey is a consultant clinical psychologist specialising in neuropsychology. His NHS clinical responsibilities involve the assessment and treatment of patients with neurological illness or injury including head injury (mild to severe injuries), multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, neurodegenerative conditions, neurodevelopmental conditions, and functional neurological conditions.
Dr Vesey has undertaken medico-legal work for over twenty-three years in both criminal and civil proceedings, reporting in cases of brain injury, dementia, fitness to plead, dissociative disorder and mental capacity. He has been instructed in employment tribunals, professional disciplinary proceedings and professional negligence cases, and has given evidence in civil and criminal courts including at high profile trials.
