Mr Andrew Sidwell is Senior Director at Avison Young and has been a specialist valuer and consultant to businesses operating in long-term and acute care for over 30 years in the private, not-for-profit and local authority sectors.
This includes nursing homes, residential care homes, specialist facilities, including inter alia adult learning disabilities and psychiatric units, acute healthcare clinics, private hospitals, special residential schools, care villages, extra-care retirement communities and assisted living developments
Mr Sidwell can act as an expert witness in cases relating to the following areas:
He can offer support across the entire dispute process, from initial analysis through to resolution, and is experienced at preparing and presenting evidence at a range of judicial and quasi-judicial proceedings, including the Courts, Planning and Public Inquiries and the Upper Tribunal.
Mr Sidwell can act on behalf of either claimant or defendant or as a Single Joint Expert.
