Mr Jonathan Bernstein MD ChB DOHNS FRCS (ORL-HNS)
ENT Consultant, Head and Neck Surgeon
Mr Bernstein specialises in head and neck surgery (cancers and benign tumours) and has general expertise in ear, nose and throat surgery. He practises at Charing Cross, the Cromwell and Wellington hospitals in London.
Mr Bernstein qualified at Bristol in 2002 and trained at teaching hospitals in south west and north west England. After completing his Calman registrar training, Mr Bernstein undertook comprehensive fellowship programme in head and neck surgical oncology, thyroid/parathyroid surgery and reconstructive microsurgery in central Toronto between 2013 and 2016 before starting his substantive consultant post at Charing Cross Hospital, where he has worked as head and neck MDT lead.
Mr Bernstein completed a two-year period of translational research and was granted a doctorate in cancer biology by the University of Manchester in 2013. He has undertaken research in head and neck cancer biomarkers, functional MRI, clinical outcomes in thyroid cancer and surgical technology. He is available for medicolegal reporting.
