Mr Jonathan Bernstein MD ChB FRCS
Consultant in ENT - Head and Neck Surgery / Thyroid Surgery
Mr Jonathan Bernstein is a consultant ENT Surgeon specialising in head and neck tumour surgery, ENT surgery and thyroid surgery based at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and the Cromwell Hospital, London.
From London originally, he qualified at Bristol University in 2002 and trained in Bristol and Manchester. After completing his training in the UK, Mr Bernstein undertook a three-year comprehensive fellowship programme in head and neck surgical oncology, thyroid/parathyroid surgery and reconstructive microsurgery at the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, University of Toronto. His surgical interests include cancers of the head and neck, reconstructive surgery, thyroid surgery, ultrasound and ear, nose and throat surgery.
Mr Bernstein is Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London. He completed a two-year period of translational research and was granted a doctorate in cancer biology by the University of Manchester in 2013. He has undertaken research in head and neck cancer biomarkers, functional MRI, clinical outcomes in thyroid cancer and surgical technology.
