Consultant Psychiatrist
Dr Saal Seneviratne has over 20 years experience as a consultant psychiatrist and regularly gives evidence as an expert witness at Magistrates Courts, Crown Court, and Civil and Family Courts as well as Mental Health Review Tribunals.
His main areas of interest and expertise are employment and housing matters, however because of his additional experience as a Forensic Medical Examiner, Dr Seneviratne also provides expert opinions for both defence and prosecution in many other areas too. Dr Seneviratne can act on behalf of either claimant or defendant or as a Single Joint Expert. He has had formal training in giving evidence during his forensic psychiatry training as well as through Bond Solon.
