Dr Sarah Cockbill is a pharmacist with wide experience of academic, hospital, community, veterinary and agricultural areas of the profession. She is competent in most aspects of the formulation, pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, drug interactions and appropriate dosage for most common forms of medication.
Dr Cockbill's term as pharmacist member on the veterinary products committee gave her experience of the data mandated before applications from manufacturers to license new products could be considered.
She has knowledge of the research materials necessary to ensure that the expert witness reports she submits are comprehensive, relevant and, if possible, achieve the objectives of those who instruct her.
Dr Cockbill can act as an expert pharmaceutical witness on behalf of either claimant or defendant or as a Single Joint Expert.
Dr Cockbill has attended several professional development courses for expert witnesses to ensure she is cognisant of any relevant changes in the law.
