Consultant Neonatologist
Dr Gary Hartnoll was a Consultant Neonatologist from 1999 until his retirement at the end of December 2019, working in tertiary level neonatal units covering both medical and surgical conditions.
His clinical practice covered all areas of neonatal medicine, including the medical care of babies with surgical problems and premature infants.
Dr Hartnoll can act as an expert witness, including the preparation of medico legal reports and appearing in court, in negligence cases relating to his specialist areas of expertise. These include neonatology, neonatal intensive care, medical management of the surgical baby, birth asphyxia, new-born resuscitation and all aspects of new-born baby care.
Dr Hartnoll can take instructions from either claimant or defendant or as a Single Joint Expert.
Dr Hartnoll is a Member of the Academy of Experts and Associate Member of the Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine. He has gained the Cardiff University Bond Solon Certificates in Civil and Family Law.
