Miss Ruth Owen - Dog Behaviour Expert
As the founder of Devon Dog Behaviour, Ruth Owen uses her many years of experience in assessing dogs by serving as an expert witness for the courts in her local area.
She is experienced in the examination of dogs for type and temperament and takes instructions in criminal cases relating to the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 and civil cases brought under the Dogs Act 1871.
Ruth has completed a BA (Hons) in Dog Behaviour and Training with The Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and Training (CIDBT) in affiliation with Middlesex University. It is the only degree course of its kind that combines hands on skills with academic achievement.
As a full member of the Canine and Feline Behaviour Association (CFBA) Ruth is recognised by most pet insurance providers. She is also a member of The Guild of Dog Trainers.
