Mr John Hawkesford is a specialist in oral surgery, oral medicine and maxillofacial surgery - including temporomandibular joint dysfunction and dental implantology.
He has acted as an expert witness since 1974, providing medico legal reports in cases of personal injury - including road traffic accidents, sport and leisure injuries, industrial injuries and criminal assault.
Mr Hawkesford's specialist areas of expertise include injury of the jaws (mouth, teeth, facial bones and soft tissue injuries) and complications following operations on the face, mouth, teeth and dental implants.
The approximate split of the cases he undertakes are 90% on behalf of the claimant and 10% for the defendant.
