Mr Brooks is a Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon with two international respected fellowships. He has a busy NHS practice and is experienced in the treatment of all degenerative adult spinal conditions as well as trauma and tumour and spinal sports complaints
Mr Brooks has been performing medicolegal reports for the last five years and has attended several medicolegal courses to improve his work. He takes instructions relating to claims in general orthopaedic, spinal and trauma surgery with an approximate split of claimant 55% to defendant 45%. He is happy provided medicolegal opinions for personal injury, insurance and medico-negligence claims.
Mr Brooks is currently completing his Bond Solon Cardiff University certificate.
Mr Brooks' current waiting time is 2 weeks. If the request is urgent he will try and accommodate the request. Reports are completed within 2 weeks of appointment if all relevant medical records and X-rays are available at time of consultations. Mr Brooks is happy to travel to other locations if required and is happy to do prison and home visits where it is deemed appropriate.
