Professor Iain McNamara is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where his elective work covers all aspects of knee surgery.

Professor McNamara acts as an expert witness, including the preparation of medico-legal reports and giving evidence in court, in personal injury and clinical negligence cases relating to his specialist areas of expertise. These include:

• • Elderly trauma
• • Soft tissue injuries
• • Specialist hip fracture
• • Hip replacement for hip fracture
• • Specialist knee trauma, including replacement
• • Fractures around knee replacement
• • Revision (re-do) knee replacement
• • Infection around knee replacement
• • Specialist knee cap (patella) trauma, pain, instability
• • Specialist knee trauma in native knees

Professor McNamara can take instructions on behalf of either claimant or defendant or as a Single Joint Expert.
