Dr Mark Drummond is an experienced Consultant Haematologist and is happy to accept instructions with regards to most haematological conditions. His particular areas of clinical specialism relate to blood cancers (eg leukaemia and lymphoma) however he runs a busy general haematology service both in the NHS and privately.
This encompasses all blood conditions including venous thrombosis, anticoagulation and bleeding, transfusion practice, and anaemia as well as all aspects of diagnostics. In his NHS practice, he largely deals with blood cancer diagnosis and treatment including lymphoma, myeloma and leukaemia.
Dr Drummond has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles and co-authored two text books on diagnosis in haematology.
Currently, he is lead clinician for the West of Scotland Blood Cancer Network. He participates regularly in the publishing of regional and national guidelines.
Dr Drummond can take instructions on behalf of either claimant or defendant or as a Single Joint Expert.
