Mr Panchmatia is a highly motivated and organised consultant orthopaedic spine surgeon at Guy’s & St. Thomas’ NHS Trust. His private practice is located at the Princess Grace Hospital and the BMI Hendon Hospital. Mr Panchmatia is the trauma and orthopaedic surgery clinical governance lead at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals, where he also established the combined pain management - spine surgery clinic.

Mr Panchmatia completed his Spine Fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital, USA. Mr. Panchmatia has trained at level 1 UK trauma centres (St. Mary’s Hospital; Kings College Hospital) as an orthopaedic surgeon and neurosurgeon and a UK orthopaedic centre of excellence (Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital).

Written and oral presentations and publications

Mr Panchmatia has greater than seventy academic publications and presentations. He has published in journals including the Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery, the Journal of Trauma, Neurosurgical Focus, and the Spine Journal. His international publications include articles on whiplash and hypermobility. He recently published a book: Navigation and robotics in spine surgery, Thieme Medical Publishers, New York.

Mr Panchmatia is experienced in writing articles for, and delivering oral presentations to, large audiences, including the British Association of Spine Surgeons and North American Spine Society.
