Adrian Watson has been providing Expert Witness reports to the court on Occupational Hygiene and Environmental Health since 1996. Adrian is mindful of his duty to provide independent, objective and unbiased evidence to the court and not to the instructing solicitors. He also acts as an advisor to solicitors before action or upon receipt of expert evidence from other experts. Adrian has prepared reports on a wide range of cases such as:

Asbestos related disease including:

• Mesothelioma, Pleural Plaques, Pleural Thickening, Lung Cancer,

Respiratory Diseases including:

• Allergic Aspergillosis, Asthmas (incl for bakers, cleaners, hairdresser’s, mushroom grower’s, spray painters) COPD, Silicosis, Tuberculosis

Cancers including:

• Bladder cancer, ETS related cancer, Leukaemia, Renal Cancer,

Environmental Conditions including:

• Heat Stroke, Sick Building Syndrome

Noise and vibration related injury including:

• Hearing Loss (incl: Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL), Ototoxic Substances, Impulse Noise (Weapons and Explosions), Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS)

Skin Diseases including:

• Irritant Contact Dermatitis, Sensitising Contact Dermatitis, Impetigo, Wet Work

Acute Chemical Injury including:

• Chlorine Release, Sulphur Dioxide Release, Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS)

Communicable and non-communicable diseases including:

• COVID 19, HIV and TB

Adrian can take instructions on behalf of either claimant or defendant or as a Single Joint Expert and has given evidence in court on numerous occasions.
