Mr Tim Clough is a Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon who specialises exclusively in adult foot and ankle disorders. He has over 20 years experience in providing personal injury medico legal reports, initially general orthopaedic and trauma reports, but for the last 12 years purely specialist foot and ankle reports, multiple injury cases (involving the foot and ankle) and high value foot and ankle cases. He has a current split of 60/40 defendant to claimant ratio, or can act as Single Joint Expert. He sees clients both in Manchester and Wigan.
He has published articles on ankle and big toe joint replacement surgery, clinical negligence in foot and ankle surgery, day case foot surgery and has presented at regional, national and international meetings. He regularly lectures on all aspects of foot and ankle injury and surgery.
He is an elected member of the Outcomes Committee of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, has been invited onto the International Faculty evaluating ankle joint replacement design and is and is Co Editor-in-Chief of 'The Foot' Journal.
