Paul Rex is the managing director of GBRW Expert Witness and is responsible for engaging expert associates in disputes involving banking, investment, insurance, trade finance and trading. GBRW Expert Witness’s directors and associates engaged by us have given evidence in more than 750 disputes over the past fifteen years.
Paul is an experienced banker with unusually wide exposure to both developed and emerging markets, having spent 18 years in management positions with two major banks (Chemical Bank, now JP Morgan Chase, and Crédit Agricole) followed by 25 years consulting on banking and financial sector assignments in the UK and overseas.
He has dealt personally with a range of areas which include lending and approval procedures, trade finance, property lending, syndicated loans and relationships between banks and their professional advisers. He has been internationally recognised as an expert witness in high value banking litigation and has given oral evidence in several cases, most recently in an extradition hearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
Paul can take instructions on behalf of either claimant or defendant or as a Single Joint Expert.
