Dr Sellaiah Sooriakumaran has been a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine at Queen Mary's Hospital since 1990 with experience in the management of upper and lower limb amputees of all age groups. He is Clinical Director of a multidisciplinary team covering physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing, clinical psychology, social work, prosthetists, orthotists and rehabilitation engineers.
Dr Sooriakumaran has been involved in providing medico-legal reports since 1990, producing 75 to 100 reports annually. In appropriate cases, assessments and reports are produced jointly with the Prosthetics & Fabrication Managers at Roehampton to give detailed specifications and costs for prosthetics.
