Based in Edinburgh, Mr Philip Lovegrove has worked extensively in east and central belt Scotland as a general practice surveyor. After training as a valuation surveyor, he focused on development consultancy and financial appraisal of development projects for secured lending.
Mr Lovegrove is a RICS Registered Valuer and specialises in the valuation of residential property. In tandem with valuation work he also regularly undertakes commercial energy assessments and has involvement with construction project management.
He has considerable experience of acting as an expert witness, including the preparation of expert reports and giving evidence in court. He is formally qualified as a Certified Expert Witness under the RICS Expert Witness training programme.
Mr Lovegrove can undertake instructions on behalf of either claimant or defendant or as a Single Joint Expert.
