Consultant Cardiologist
Dr Rajesh Chelliah is a highly experienced consultant cardiologist who specialises in heart failure, palpitations, arrhythmia, the use and implementation of pacemakers, valvular heart disease, as well as performing echocardiograms. He currently practises privately at both the Spire Leicester Hospital as well as the Spire Nottingham Hospital.
Dr Chelliah, who was first officially appointed as a consultant cardiologist in 2016 upon successful completion of his cardiology training in the East Midlands South Deanery, is an expert in two main categories: advanced echocardiography and advanced cardiac device implementation for all cardiac rhythm disorders.
He can undertake expert witness instructions, including the preparation of medico legal reports and giving evidence in court, in clinical negligence cases relating to all of these areas of expertise.
Dr Chelliah can act on behalf of either claimant or defendant or as a Single Joint Expert.
