Mr Stephen Keoghane has been an NHS consultant since 2003 and has worked in three NHS Trusts and previously in private practice. He served for 22 years in the Army Reserve including a tour as a trauma surgeon in Afghanistan. He is also actively involved in medical education.
Mr Keoghane is a specialist in the management of kidney stones, but his NHS practice also includes a large amount of generic core urology. He has had significant exposure to and has published on the rare condition of Fournier's gangrene.
He is an experienced expert witness and has a very busy medico-legal practice acting on behalf of both claimants and defendants. He is also an author and feature writer and has presented research at multiple national and international scientific meetings.
