Doctor of Psychology

Dr Katharine Bentley has been a chartered psychologist for 18 years and a consultant psychologist for adults, adolescents, families and children for the past 13 years. She has 13 years experience as an expert witness for the Family and Civil Courts.

Dr Bentley undertakes assessments and diagnoses according to DSM-5 criteria. She specialises in:

• Cognitive and psychometric testing
• Personality profiling
• Impact of all types of abuse: emotional, physical, sexual abuse, neglect; domestic violence, including adults and children
• Family assessments: contact, access, psychological risk assessment
• Parenting skills and capacity: evaluation of "good enough" parenting
• Impact of parental mental health on children
• Attachment and the parenting needs of children
• All aspects of trauma and recovery
• Alienating behaviours and the impact on children

LAA rates:

Adults £93.60 per hour plus VAT
Children and Families £100.80 per hour plus VAT
